Movie Magic

Kate is proficient in both Movie Magic Scheduling and Movie Magic Budgeting. She took The Television Producer at Columbia College Chicago, the focus of the class was to focus on development of projects including budgeting. She learned Movie Magic Scheduling on the job, and can successfully convert a schedule into a call sheet and run Day out of Days and other department reports.

Adaptation for Film and Stage

Kate has adapted two scripts in school. She adapted the first two episodes of A Series of Unfortunate Events, produced by Netflix for a stage production for a local youth theater group. She also adapted the episode “Decoy for a Dognapper” from the series Scooby Doo. She produced the theater production at the Santa Fe Playhouse in Santa Fe, NM.

Adobe Premiere

Kate has been using Adobe Premiere for six years. She took Production and Editing II which heavily focused on the editing software. She has edited upwards of 15 projects throughout school. She also worked on editing a sizzle reel for a documentary show currently in development. She has the skills to work on every phase of the production process.

  • Assisted photography department by transporting equipment.
